Configuring FileZilla to use a SSH key

FileZilla can serve as an SFTP client, allowing you to manage your content over SSH without the need for additional server software. One of the advantages is that it supports SSH key authentication, unlike plain FTP or FTPS.

In the FileZilla site manager, add a new site for the server you want to connect to:
On the right-hand side, change the Protocol to SFTP:
Change the Logon Type to "Key File".
Enter the username and browse for your key file.
